The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Harvest Operative to support our Intake Team during the busy harvest period. This is a 3-month temporary role, ideal for someone seeking summer work who enjoys practical tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
You’ll play an important part in ensuring grain intake runs smoothly and meets our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Sampling incoming lorries and checking grain against malting quality standards
*Supporting intake hygiene and maintaining clean, safe working areas
*Liaising with the grain team regarding deliveries and load information
*Testing harvest samples and recording basic results on spreadsheets
*Assisting the intake team with general operational tasks during peak periods
What We’re Looking For
*A positive, practical and reliable attitude
*Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
*Willingness to follow procedures and complete training
*Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
*Previous harvest or industrial experience is helpful but not essential
