What does the role involve?As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll lead lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment throughout the day.
Responsibilities include:
*Supervising classes across a range of subjects
*Delivering pre-planned work set by teaching staff
*Managing classroom behaviour effectively
*Keeping students focused and on task
*Following school policies and expectations
*Building positive relationships with students and staff
What we’re looking for:*Previous experience working with young people or leading groups
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Confidence managing behaviour and maintaining classroom expectations
*A calm, professional and adaptable approach
*School experience is advantageous but not essential
*Candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply
