Hays Education are working in partnership with an Outstanding rated secondary school in South Manchester to recruit a Teacher of Maths for a September 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Maths specialist to join a high-performing department on an initial interim basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

*Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
*Inspire students to achieve excellent academic outcomes
*Contribute to a supportive and collaborative Maths department
*Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools
*A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement
*Strong classroom management skills
