We’re seeking an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational stakeholders, delivering insightful reporting, and influencing business performance through robust financial analysis.
The Role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Business Partnering, you will play a key role in supporting operational managers and senior stakeholders across a range of income and expenditure streams. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management information, driving forecasting and budgeting processes, and providing valuable insight to support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
*Producing high-quality monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior leadership teams
*Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with budget holders and stakeholders
*Delivering detailed variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities and performance trends
*Supporting re-forecasting activities and ensuring financial plans remain aligned to business objectives
*Presenting financial information clearly and confidently to both finance and non-finance audiences
*Ensuring financial and operational information is accurately reflected within management reporting
*Supporting the wider Finance Business Partnering team in delivering effective financial management information across the organisation
About YouWe’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong management accounting experience and a proactive, business-partnering approach.
You’ll bring:
*Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*The ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels
*Confidence to challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Advanced Excel skills and strong overall IT capability
Experience within real estate, regulated sector, housing or property would be advantageous but is not essential.
