Your new job working as a Junior Broker/Broker Support Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd’s Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide, your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas. They have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Energy and Construction team, a permanent position for a junior Broker/ Broker Support Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Junior Broker/Broker Support Technician means you will be broking Energy and Construction business in the London and International insurance markets alongside supporting the Senior Broker. This is a dual role that will consist of both Broker support duties to include MRC slip production and endorsements, as well as occasional Broking to Underwriters and uploading to PPL.

Other duties will include liaising with the clients on both renewals and new business, alongside liaising with the processing Technicians ensuring client files and systems are accurate. Further duties will also include keeping client files and systems up to date and delivering focused and accurate services to clients.
What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Broker Support Technician or Account handler or Junior Broker handling Construction, Energy or Power business will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have knowledge of PPL, Whitespace and e-placing platforms as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be outgoing and able to use your own initiative whilst developing effective working relationships. You should also have Microsoft Office Suite experience.
