Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a growing West Yorkshire manufacturer to recruit a Production Planner at their Halifax site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to establish themselves within production planning and operations. Our client has a strong track record of developing talent from the ground up, and this role has been created with genuine progression in mind.
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established manufacturer with a collaborative culture and a clear commitment to investing in its people. You won’t be thrown in at the deep end; you’ll be supported, trained, and developed into a confident planner who understands the full manufacturing cycle.
What the Role Involves
Reporting into an experienced planning team, you’ll play a key part in keeping production schedules on track and customer orders moving. Your responsibilities will include:
*Creating and maintaining production schedules in line with customer demand
*Coordinating with purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed
*Working alongside manufacturing teams to identify and resolve scheduling issues
*Updating and maintaining accurate planning data across internal systems
*Producing reports to support operational decision-making
*Contributing to continuous improvement activity within the planning function
What Elevation Are Looking for on Behalf of Our Client
*Educated to A-Level, HNC/HND, or degree level in a relevant discipline — Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Operations
*Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
*Confident with data and comfortable working in Excel
*A clear communicator who works well across teams
*Proactive, eager to learn, and genuinely motivated to build a career in planning
*Prior experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or production environment is advantageous but not a requirement
