The Company

We are working with a well-established and growing international group operating within a specialist industrial sector. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, quality and customer relationships, the business is now looking to appoint a capable Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen its finance team.

The Role

Reporting to the Group CFO, this is a key role supporting financial reporting, group accounting and compliance across the business. Responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, support with group consolidations under IFRS, intercompany reconciliations, UK statutory accounts, cash flow forecasting, covenant reporting, tax analysis and budgeting/forecasting support. You will also act as a key contact for auditors, tax advisers and other external professional advisers, while contributing to finance improvement projects and wider group reporting activity.

The Person

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with strong financial accounting and reporting experience.

You may already be working as a Senior Financial Accountant, Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, Reporting Accountant or Finance Manager seeking a more technical group role.

Experience of group consolidations, IFRS, intercompany accounting and statutory accounts would be highly beneficial. Exposure to international businesses, multiple entities or different currencies would also be useful.

You will be organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to deadlines, with strong communication skills and a practical, collaborative approach.
