South West Region (Newport)
My client is looking for an experienced HR professional to join them in a senior, business-facing role supporting their South West region. You’ll work closely with regional leaders to shape and deliver a people strategy that supports growth, engagement, and performance.
This is a great opportunity to take the lead on a wide range of HR activity across multiple sites, driving change, improving the employee experience, and making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities will include:
*Partner with the Regional Director and leadership team to deliver the people strategy
*Lead and support HR teams across the region
*Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure everything runs smoothly
*Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
*Drive employee engagement and culture improvements
*Manage employee relations, including within a unionised environment
*Support recruitment, workforce planning, and talent development
*Ensure policies, processes, and employment law are applied consistently
Criteria:
*CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
*Strong generalist HR background, ideally in manufacturing or a unionised setting
*Experience operating at a senior/strategic level
*Confident influencing and working with senior stakeholders
*Commercially aware, proactive, and resilient
*Passionate about people, development, and building great teams
