Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with various secondary schools in Trafford to recruit fully qualified PE Teachers for full-time positions starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive school environment and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote teamwork, physical fitness, skill development, and a healthy, active lifestyle.
Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester (or willing to travel)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, with the potential to go permanent through the school
Salary: Matched to your level on the teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for long term roles with the responsibility of planning and marking
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Teach both practical and theory-based lessons
*Monitor, assess, and report on student progress effectively
*Create an inclusive, well-managed classroom environment
*Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
*Maintain positive behaviour management and promote a love of learning
The Ideal Candidate
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Has experience teaching PE at secondary level (ECTs also welcome to apply)
*Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
*Is based in Trafford or is happy to travel to the area
*Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
