Location: Fillingate, Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Duration: 50 weeks
Start Date: Mid to End of June
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the full demolition of a plant in Leicester. This is a complex, high-level demolition project requiring someone with a proven background in managing large-scale, high-risk demolition works from start to finish.
You will oversee all site operations, ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards, coordinate subcontractors, manage site documentation, and maintain smooth day-to-day progress across the 50-week programme.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage all on-site demolition activities
*Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation and company procedures
*Oversee high-level demolition works and associated risk controls
*Manage subcontractors, labour, and site logistics
*Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
*Maintain accurate site records, RAMS, and progress reporting
*Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Required Qualifications & Experience
*SMSTS
*First Aid - 3-day course
*NVQ Level 6 - Black CSCS Card
*Strong background in high-level demolition
*Experience managing demolition of industrial or plant facilities
