Full job descriptionThe Audit Senior will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services for a variety of clients in the professional services sector. This permanent role is based in Maidstone and is ideal for an individual with strong accounting and finance expertise.

Our client is a well established accountancy practice in Maidstone. As a medium-sized organisation, they are known for providing tailored solutions to their clients, fostering a professional yet supportive work environment.
Description
*Plan, execute, and finalise audits for a diverse portfolio of clients in the professional services sector.
*Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
*Identify and resolve audit issues efficiently, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
*Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
*Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
*Circa 75% audit/25% accounts & tax split.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
*ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified.
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
*Proven experience in conducting audits within the professional services industry.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
*The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
