Inclusive and welcoming primary schools in Streatham are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their teams. About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally. You may work 1:1 with individual pupils or support small groups, helping children access learning and build confidence in the classroom.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Supporting pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language difficulties
• Providing 1:1 or small-group learning support
• Assisting with classroom organisation and lesson preparation
• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and engagement
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and social development
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCo and support staff
• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment

• SEN experience is highly desirable
• A patient, nurturing and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional needs
