Full job descriptionIT Service Design Lead
London (Hybrid) | 6-month contract | Inside IR35
My client, a leading global bank is looking for a Service Design & Introduction Lead to support a major transformation programme focused on service readiness, governance, and operational resilience.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead end-to-end Service Design & Introduction for new and changed services
*Ensure services are fully operationally ready, supportable, and compliant ahead of go-live
*Define and govern Service Design Packages (SDPs), SLAs, support models, and readiness criteria
*Act as the bridge between delivery teams and BAU operations
*Run service readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions with senior stakeholders
*Embed consistent SD&I processes, standards, and governance frameworks
Key requirements:
*Strong experience in Service Design & Transition / Introduction (ITIL)
*Background in financial services or regulated environments
*Experience delivering within large-scale transformation programmes
*Strong stakeholder management across Technology, Risk, and Business
*Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
