Description
The Consumer Credit Lawyer will be:
*Advising on FCA-regulated consumer credit and lending matters
*Supporting product development and regulatory compliance initiatives
*Partnering with business teams to manage legal risk
*Drafting and negotiating finance and consumer credit documentation
*Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and advising on impacts
Profile
The Consumer Credit Lawyer should be:
*A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ PQE in finance or consumer credit
*Experienced in FCA-regulated consumer lending frameworks
*Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
*Skilled in drafting and negotiating financial services documentation
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-house or financial services environment
