About the Role
You will take responsibility for a well-behaved and enthusiastic Year 5 class, delivering a broad, engaging curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive
· Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress effectively
· Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (experience in Year 5 desirable)
· A passion for delivering innovative and creative lessons
· Excellent classroom management skills
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities
· A commitment to the ethos and values of an independent school setting
