Contract: Part-Time (0.4-0.6 FTE, negotiable)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join a thriving and supportive private school in West Essex from September 2026.
We are seeking a well-qualified and inspiring teacher who is able to teach French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience). This is a part-time role, with flexibility over the timetable for the right candidate.
The Role
· Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in French and/or Spanish
· Inspire a love of languages and cultural awareness in pupils
· Contribute to the academic success and wider life of the school
· Support extracurricular opportunities such as language clubs or trips (desirable)
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent preferred)
· Have strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish
· Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning
· Be committed to maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Be able to work collaboratively within a supportive department
