Full job descriptionNewstaff Employment Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative with a driving license to join our team in St Albans. This role involves typical warehouse duties supplemented by driving responsibilities within and around the St Albans area. If you have a valid driving license and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:*Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods.
*Drive company vehicles safely to deliver or collect goods as required.
*Maintain accurate records of deliveries and warehouse stock.
*Ensure the warehouse and vehicle are kept clean and organized.
*Assist with inventory checks and stock management.
*Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
*Valid driving license (UK).
*Previous experience in a warehouse role is preferred.
*Confident driver with a clean driving record.
*Ability to carry out physical work including lifting and moving items.
*Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
*Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
Competitive hourly rate and opportunities for overtime available.
Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (half-hour break) - no weekends
£14.00 per hour
