Day Rate: £700-£800 per day

The Opportunity
We are looking for a senior HR leader to take on the role of Assistant Director - Reward & Recognition, leading the pay, reward, and job evaluation process across a major organisation. This is a pivotal position, responsible for delivering a fair, compliant and sustainable Reward & Recognition strategy, aligned to financial and organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead the development and delivery of the organisation-wide Reward & Recognition strategy
*Oversee job evaluation, equal pay risk and reward governance frameworks
*Provide expert leadership on pay policy, compliance and employment legislation
*Lead on complex workforce cost modelling and reward insight
*Manage collective bargaining and negotiations with Trade Unions
*Drive continuous improvement across reward, compliance and policy
*Deputise for the Director of Industrial & Employee Relations as required
About You
*Significant senior experience in reward, pay or recognition in a large, complex organisation
*Deep knowledge of equal pay, job evaluation and employment law
*Strong track record in leading and managing risk in reward frameworks
*Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
*CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience)
