Full job descriptionPrecision Dresser / FinisherAerospace Manufacturing | LeedsPermanent Afternoon ShiftUp to £45,000 + BenefitsElevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced Precision Dresser / Finisher to join a leading aerospace manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly skilled engineering environment producing small, intricate components to exceptionally high quality standards.
Working on a permanent afternoon shift, you will play a key role in the finishing and dressing of precision-machined parts used in critical applications.
The Role*Precision dressing, deburring, polishing and finishing of small, complex components
*Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
*Using hand tools, pneumatic tools, microscopes and measuring equipment
*Removing sharp edges and imperfections while maintaining tight tolerances
*Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
*Working closely with machining and quality teams to achieve production targets
*Maintaining high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and housekeeping standards
About You*Previous experience within precision engineering, aerospace, medical, motorsport or similar high-spec manufacturing environments
*Skilled in dressing, deburring, polishing or finishing intricate metal components
*Ability to work with very small and delicate parts
*Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
*Comfortable working to tight tolerances and engineering drawings
*Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team attitude
