Salary: £32,000–£42,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £60,000)
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
The RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hatfield. Working within a premium manufacturer environment, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while delivering the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
This position offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, and clear career progression within one of the world’s leading automotive brands.
Key Responsibilities*Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
*Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
*Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional repair opportunities.
*Complete all workshop documentation accurately and efficiently.
*Utilise manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems.
*Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales and quality standards.
*Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
*Support workshop efficiency and contribute to team performance targets.
Candidate RequirementsEssential*Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Desirable*Mercedes-Benz experience.
*Franchise dealership background.
*MOT Tester qualification.
*Hybrid and EV accreditation.
*Manufacturer training or certification.
