Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager - DescriptionA rare opportunity has arisen for a Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager to join an established team, with excellent transport links across the North West and easy access near Junction 12 of the M56.
The Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager role will suit an experienced personal tax professional who enjoys managing a varied portfolio and delivering both compliance and advisory support to private clients and owner-managed businesses. You’ll have real autonomy, exposure to interesting work including HNWIs, landlords and trusts , and clear scope for progression.
Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager - ResponsibilitiesAs Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:
*Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, acting as the main point of contact

*Delivering compliance and advisory work across a broad range of personal tax matters

*Advising individuals and owner-managed businesses with practical, commercially focused guidance

*Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser

*Handling HMRC enquiries and investigations

*Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to provide joined-up client service

Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager – RequirementsTo be successful as Tax Manager / Tax Senior Manager, you will ideally have:
*A strong personal tax background gained within public practice essential

*Exposure to advisory-led work for individuals and owner-managed businesses

*CTA/ATT qualified or qualified by experience

*Experience with trusts advantageous, but not essential

*Confidence managing your own client portfolio and maintaining excellent client relationships

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach across departments
