The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in King’s Lynn. This role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, and the chance to work within a modern workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles.
*Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
*Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
*Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
*Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
*Work efficiently to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
*Support colleagues and contribute to overall workshop performance.
Candidate RequirementsEssential*Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable*MOT Tester qualification.
*Franchise dealership experience.
*Hybrid and EV qualifications.
*Manufacturer accreditation.
