Description
*Processing purchase invoices
*Raising sales invoices
*Journal entries
*Prepare invoices for payment.
*Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
*Producing the trial balance
*Running the weekly and monthly payroll including pensions and HMRC.
*Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks as required.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
Profile
A successful Book-keeper should have:
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
*Experience in the transport and distribution industry is advantageous.
Job Offer
*Hourly pay ranging from £16.00 to £20.00, depending on experience.
