Salary: £32,000–£42,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £55,000)
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
The RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful Mercedes-Benz dealership in Stevenage. Working within a manufacturer-trained environment, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to the highest standards while contributing to workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This role offers a competitive basic salary, excellent bonus potential, ongoing manufacturer training, and genuine career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
*Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
*Complete work efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer standards.
*Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair opportunities.
*Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
*Work collaboratively with the workshop and service teams to achieve departmental objectives.
*Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Candidate RequirementsEssential*Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Desirable*Mercedes-Benz experience.
*Manufacturer accreditation or franchise dealership experience.
*MOT Tester qualification.
*Hybrid and EV qualification or experience.
