The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional automotive dealership in Bristol. This customer-facing role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle check-in through to completion of repairs and servicing.
Key Responsibilities*Greet customers and manage service bookings.
*Accurately identify customer requirements and vehicle concerns.
*Liaise with technicians and workshop staff regarding vehicle progress.
*Provide customers with updates and obtain authorisation for additional work.
*Prepare estimates, invoices, and service documentation.
*Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
*Ensure all work is completed to agreed timescales and customer expectations.
*Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
*Maintain accurate records using the dealer management system.
Candidate RequirementsEssential*Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
*Good IT and system skills.
*Full UK driving licence.
Desirable*Main dealer experience.
*Knowledge of Kerridge, Pinnacle, Keyloop, or similar DMS systems.
*Experience working to customer satisfaction and performance targets.
