Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Norwich, starting ASAP. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them engage, progress, and feel safe within a structured learning environment.
The school is looking for a calm, resilient practitioner with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Norwich
*Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
*Type of work - Supporting pupils within an SEN school
*Start date - ASAP
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Minimum rate of pay - £100-£120 per day (depending on experience)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable)
*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
