Full job descriptionA growing business are looking to expand and need an experienced credit controller to join their team in this busy time. The business is based in Leeds it is a full time office-based role, on a temporary contract. As a Credit Controller you will ensure that all customer debt is collected by its due date and in line with set company procedures.


Job duties:
*Being involved in all aspects of credit control.
*Responsible for your own ledger.
*Dealing with payments from customers.
*Chasing outstanding debt.
*Setting up payment terms.
*Checking customers credit limits.
*Taking and fielding calls regarding payments.
*Processing payments.
*Updating Sage 200.
*Liaising regularly with the Sales office and other departments.


The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous experience within a similar role
*Experience using Excel.
*Be able to work from their own initiative.
*Meticulous for detail.
*A team player
*Able to multitask.
*Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
*General accounts experience.
*Strong communication skills.
