Management Accountant | Nottingham | £37,000-£45,000 (DOE)
We’re supporting a growing business in Nottingham to recruit an Interim Management Accountant to work directly with the Finance Director.
This contract will likely be around 3 months, however does have some potential to become permanent and offers a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to take ownership of the full management accounts process, working under a development focussed FD.
The RoleWorking closely with the FD, you’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function, taking responsibility for both the end-to-end management accounts cycle and the hands-on detail.
Key responsibilities include:
*Producing monthly management accounts from start to finish
*Preparing board packs and financial reports
*Managing accruals, prepayments and journals
*Completing balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting with budgets and forecasts
*Getting involved in the day-to-day transactional and "nitty gritty" finance work
*Assisting the FD with improving processes and adding value to reporting
About You*Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and actively studying
*Experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
*Comfortable working in a small finance function with broad exposure
*Hands-on, adaptable and willing to get involved at all levels
*Ambitious and keen to progress into a senior finance role
