People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm opportunities.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or Pallet Network Driver.
Shifts
*Monday to Friday
*08:00 – 09:00 starts
Rates of Pay
*£14.83 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Completing multi-drop palletised deliveries around the MK postcodes
*Unloading deliveries by hand or using a pump truck
*Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
*Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
*Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules
Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
*A valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
*A minimum of 6 months’ Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
*No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
*A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
*Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience
*Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided
*Driver assessment required prior to starting
*Industry-related training and ongoing support
