Salary: £100-115 per day PAYE


Inspire Young People Through Sport and Physical ActivityA vibrant and inclusive school in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced Sports Coach to join its team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic individual who is passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork, and positive development among young people.
Working across the school day, the successful candidate will deliver engaging sports sessions, support pupils’ wellbeing, and contribute to creating a positive and active learning environment. The role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on pupils both inside and outside the classroom.


Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions to pupils of varying ages and abilities
*Encourage participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through engaging activities
*Support pupils’ physical, social, and emotional development
*Assist with the organisation of sports events, competitions, and extracurricular clubs
*Promote positive behaviour and act as a positive role model throughout the school
*Work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ overall development
*Adapt activities to ensure all pupils can participate and succeed
*Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during all sporting activities


Ideal Candidate*Previous experience coaching sports within a school, club, or community setting
*Relevant sports coaching qualifications are desirable
*Confident leading groups of children and young people
*Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about sport and education
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities
*Flexible and proactive approach to supporting school activities
*Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
