People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our well-established client based in Broxburn, West Lothian.
This is a temporary opportunity starting on 10th June, ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable with physical work in a busy yard environment.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Yard Worker, Yard Labourer or Logistics Yard Operative.
Shifts: Monday to Friday: 7.00am - 4.30pm
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour Benefits:Your benefits as a Yard Operative are:

Day-to-Day Duties:As a Yard Operative, your duties will include:
*Supporting FLT Drivers with daily yard operations
*Lifting, carrying and moving roofing materials around the yard
*Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
*Organising stock and maintaining tidy storage areas
*Supporting general yard duties as required
*Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Essential Skills:The skills required as a Yard Operative are:
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
*Reliable and punctual
*Ability to work safely in a busy outdoor environment
*Good communication skills
*Strong work ethic and willingness to support the wider team
Desirable Experience:*Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or labouring environment is advantageous but not essential.
Training:*Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
