Job Description:
Full job descriptionPrimary School Teacher (QTS Required) – Job Description*Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.
*Teach and support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required.
*Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports pupil development.
*Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback and support.
*Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND, EAL, and higher-attaining learners.
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement the school’s behaviour policy consistently.
*Foster pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
*Participate in staff meetings, parents’ evenings, school events, and professional development activities.
*Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures and report concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
*Promote high expectations for achievement, attendance, behaviour, and pupil wellbeing.
Essential Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
*Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
*Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils of all abilities.
