Full job descriptionAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic P.E. Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, fitness, and well-being within a supportive and high-achieving environment.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
*Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
*Lead extracurricular sports clubs and represent the school in competitions
*Monitor, assess, and track student progress
*Contribute to whole-school sports events and enrichment activities
*Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
*Experience teaching P.E. in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome to apply)
*Strong classroom management and organisational skills
*Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
*Passion for sport and student development
Desirable*Experience coaching competitive sports teams
*Ability to teach GCSE or A-Level P.E.
*First Aid qualification
