Full job descriptionThe Financial Accountant will play a vital role in overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Accounting & Finance department within the property industry.

Description
*Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
*Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies as required.
*Support budgeting and forecasting activities for the organisation.
*Ensure compliance with tax filings, including VAT and corporation tax.
*Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
*Provide financial insights and analysis to aid decision-making within the Accounting & Finance department.
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*AAT qualified, or part qualified ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
*Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
*Strong knowledge of ERP and expense software, Microsoft Dynamics an advantage.
*An analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
*Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
*Experience in the property sector or a related industry is advantageous
