The Opportunity
As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with clients across a variety of sectors. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting services while supporting and developing junior team members.
This position offers excellent exposure to a wide range of businesses, alongside a clear route for progression within a growing accountancy practice.
What You’ll Be Doing*Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
*Managing audit fieldwork and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements
*Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
*Identifying technical issues and providing practical solutions
*Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing constructive feedback
*Supporting, mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues
*Collaborating with managers and partners on complex assignments and advisory projects
What We’re Looking For*ACA or ACCA qualified
*Previous experience working within a UK practice environment
*Strong external audit experience with exposure to a varied client base
*Good understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards
*Excellent organisational and project management skills
*Strong communication and client relationship-building abilities
*Experience reviewing work and supervising junior team members
*A proactive approach with a genuine desire to develop your career within the accountancy profession
