Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + bonus & comprehensive benefits
Our client is a Top 20 accountancy practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit, advisory, and business services to a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their London office, working with clients across a broad range of sectors including technology, media, retail, property, professional services, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, overseeing engagements from planning through to completion
*Lead and develop audit teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical support
*Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
*Review statutory accounts and audit files, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and regulatory standards
*Work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service
*Identify opportunities to improve client processes and add commercial value
*Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the firm
*Assist with budgeting, resource planning, and overall engagement management
Candidate Requirements:
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
*Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
*Strong audit experience managing a broad client portfolio
*Good knowledge of UK GAAP and audit compliance requirements
*Experience leading teams and managing client relationships effectively
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Commercially aware, proactive, and highly organised
*Experience working with clients across multiple sectors is advantageous
