Full job descriptionExperienced TA - Reception Class - Sudbury - Start Date 15th JuneProspero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Experienced Teaching Assistant to support a small Reception class in a warm and nurturing primary school in Sudbury. This role begins 15th June and will run until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who enjoys supporting early learners and contributing to a positive, engaging classroom environment.
The school is looking for a confident TA with strong communication skills, a caring approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive EYFS team.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Sudbury
*Position - Experienced Reception Teaching Assistant
*Type of work - Classroom support (EYFS)
*Start date - 15th June
*Duration - Until end of academic year
*Full time/part-time - Mornings (8:30am - 12pm), Monday-Friday
*Additional hours - Potential for Fridays to extend to 12pm - 3:30pm
*Minimum rate of pay - From £50 per day
*Hours - 8:30am - 12pm (Mon-Fri), with possible extended Friday session
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Experience supporting children in EYFS or primary settings
*Understanding of early childhood development and Reception-age learning
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
*Relevant TA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
