Contract: Full-time
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dedicated SEN TA to join a supportive and inclusive school in Reading. This role is ideal for a compassionate SEN TA who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. The successful SEN TA will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential.
The RoleAs an SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will help create an engaging and nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.
Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs
*Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
*Adapt classroom resources to meet individual pupil requirements
*Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation
*Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
*Support the social, emotional, and academic development of learners
