Full job descriptionElevation Senior Finance are recruiting a Financial Controller for a successful international manufacturing business in Sheffield.

In this role you will be part of the local leadership team, and you will oversee the day-to-day finance operations of the business while supporting the Managing Director with financial reporting, cash management and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary
*Provide weekly updates to the Managing Director and leadership team on cash, debtors and KPIs
*Monitor and report on cash position and trade finance facilities
*Attend finance meetings with banking partners
*Business partner with operations
*Oversee sales and purchase ledgers, resolving issues with internal teams and suppliers
*Support and guide members of the finance team
*Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations using Sage
*Manage month-end processes including intercompany reconciliations
*Reconcile and report monthly sales figures
*Review bad debt provisions, credit notes and customer credit checks
*Oversee supplier payment runs and maintain trade loan facilities
*Review payroll, VAT returns and HMRC submissions (EC sales and Intrastat)
*Support annual insurance renewals and company benefits reporting
*Organise and manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
To be successful you will have the following skills and experiences: -
*Ideally CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified
*Proven experience in a financial management role
*Strong financial reporting and reconcilaition experience
*Experience using Sage or similar accounting systems
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
