*SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour required
*SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Experience working in a specialist setting desirable
*SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
*SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP
Have you previously worked as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant or SEMH Teaching Assistant?
Do you have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs?
Are you able to build positive relationships with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour?

The Role - SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Seeking a resilient and proactive SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils regulate emotions, manage behaviour and engage with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, supporting pupils during periods of dysregulation and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day. Strong resilience, consistency and relationship-building skills are essential.
The School - SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant
This specialist provision is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station.
