Futures are working with a well known industry leading manufacture looking to appoint a Senior Buyer. This is an excellent company who have a strong emphasis on quality and a reputation for excellence. We are looking for a Senior Buyer with a strong background in manufacturing and an understanding of fabricated parts.

Senior Buyer - Role and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for leading cost purchase of materials and components
* Managing stock control to ensure all material is available at all times for the production teams
* Represent the department in meetings as required
* Develop and maintain supplier and internal relationship

Senior Buyer - Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Experience buying mechanical components for a manufacturer
* Prior experience working closely with R&D teams
* Experience purchasing parts from suppliers in the far east preferred
* MRP/ERP experience
