Pay: £16-£18 per hour
Start Date: September 2026
An ambitious secondary school in Hackney is looking to appoint a School Caretaker to support the upkeep, security and day-to-day operation of the school site.
Responsibilities
*Opening and securing buildings
*Carrying out routine maintenance tasks
*Monitoring site safety and cleanliness
*Supporting emergency procedures when required
*Assisting with room and equipment set-up
The Successful Candidate Will
*Have previous experience in a caretaker, premises or facilities role
*Be practical, organised and proactive
*Have strong communication skills
*Be committed to maintaining a safe school environment
