Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established shipping company in Felixstowe who are looking to welcome a Customs Clearance Coordinator to expand their team.
Key Duties:
*Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate timely clearance of goods.
*Monitor and manage clearance status for incoming and outgoing shipments.
*Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient customs processes.
*Provide customers with updates and proactively manage delays, discrepancies or documentation queries.
*Prepare and submit customs documentation required for import and export clearances.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Brilliant attention to detail & accuracy.
*Strong customer service skills.
*Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Deep Sea and EU customs clearance.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
Benefits:
*25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
*Monday to Friday: either 08:30 – 17:00 or 09:00 – 17:30.
*Free parking.
