Full job descriptionSenior BrokerLocation: Hybrid (3 days office-based, 2 days working from home)
The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Broker to join a growing insurance business. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities generated through marketing activities, whilst also managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients.
The successful candidate will have strong experience within the construction insurance sector and be confident building lasting relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities*Manage and develop new business opportunities generated through marketing campaigns.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
*Handle the full insurance placement process from quotation through to renewal.
*Provide expert advice on construction insurance risks and solutions.
*Manage and service an existing portfolio of clients.
*Negotiate terms and secure competitive cover for clients.
*Maintain accurate records using Acturis.
*Support the wider broking team where required.
Skills & Experience*Proven insurance broking experience.
*Strong knowledge of the construction insurance market.
*Essential experience using Acturis.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
*Organised with excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
