Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join a busy and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous electrical assembly or panel wiring experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
*Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and sub-assemblies.
*Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
*Using a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
*Crimping, terminating, and connecting electrical components and cables.
*Carrying out basic testing and quality checks on completed assemblies.
*Assisting with soldering tasks where required (not essential).
*Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area.
*Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
The Candidate
*Previous experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a similar manufacturing role.
*Experience using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely.
*Strong crimping and cable termination skills.
*Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
*Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
*Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
