Full job descriptionCommercial Account Handler - Leeds - Hybrid - Up to £40,000
A growing independent brokerage in Leeds is looking for a capable commercial handler to join a team with real momentum - and the pipeline to back it up.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be treading water. You’ll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, work across the full policy lifecycle, and be part of a brokerage that’s expanding with purpose and investing in the people driving that growth.
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Leeds
Working pattern: Hybrid
What you’ll be doing
*Managing and retaining a portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries
*Handling renewals, MTAs and new business enquiries from start to finish
*Negotiating with insurers to secure the best terms and cover for your clients
*Advising across commercial lines including property, liability, motor and combined packages
*Producing market submissions and supporting client meetings where needed
*Keeping accurate records on Acturis and maintaining FCA compliance throughout
What they’re looking for
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial account handling or broking
*Solid technical knowledge across commercial insurance products
*Proficient in Acturis and Microsoft Office
*Cert CII qualified or working towards it - preferred but not essential
*Someone who communicates well, builds trust easily and stays on top of their workload
