Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with secondary schools across Corby to recruit enthusiastic graduates for their Graduate Teaching Programme. This opportunity is designed for individuals considering a future in teaching and provides invaluable classroom experience before progressing onto formal teacher training.
You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting students, working alongside experienced teachers, and developing the skills and confidence required to succeed in the classroom.
About the RoleAs part of the Graduate Teaching Programme, you will become an integral member of the school community, supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting students during lessons to maximise engagement and achievement
*Delivering targeted intervention sessions to small groups and individual pupils
*Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
*Helping students overcome barriers to learning
*Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
*Building strong professional relationships with students and staff
*Developing your understanding of teaching strategies and educational practice
This role offers excellent exposure to secondary education and is ideal preparation for future teacher training pathways such as a PGCE, School Direct, or apprenticeship route.
Who Should Apply?We are looking for graduates who:
*Hold a degree in any subject
*Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
*Are confident, proactive, and eager to learn
*Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Enjoy working with young people
*Have previous experience working with children or young people (advantageous but not essential)
