Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching but looking to gain classroom experience before committing to teacher training?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of welcoming secondary schools in Corby that are looking for ambitious graduates to join them as Aspiring Teachers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience in education, develop your confidence in the classroom, and build the skills needed for a successful teaching career.
Whether you’re planning to apply for a PGCE, School Direct, or another teacher training route in the future, this role will provide valuable insight into life in a secondary school.
What You’ll Be DoingAs an Aspiring Teacher, you’ll work closely with teachers and students across the school, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects

*Delivering targeted interventions to small groups and individual learners

*Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

*Encouraging student engagement and academic progress

*Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment

*Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

*Developing your understanding of teaching, learning, and classroom practice

Who We’re Looking ForThis role is ideal for graduates who:
*Hold a degree in any subject area

*Are considering a future career in teaching

*Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Are enthusiastic, resilient, and eager to learn

*Enjoy working with young people and supporting their development

*Have experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
