Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join the shopfloor team at a busy manufacturing company in Coventry. This is a hands-on roleworking with materials and machinery.


Hours: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday however, you must be prepared to do 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm during busy periods.
Pay rate: £12.83 per hour paid weekly
Contract: Temporary to Permanent


Key Responsibilities:
*Operating a slitting machine to cut materials accurately
*Cutting and preparing materials to required specifications
*Working on the shop floor as part of a team
*Following health & safety procedures at all times
*Maintaining a clean and organised work area


Requirements:
*Good level of common sense and practical thinking
*Experience operating a slitting machine preferred but not essential
*Experience operating and setting machinery preferred but not essential
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
*Reliable and punctual
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Flexibility to support shift work when required
