This role is being handled by Via, a secure hiring platform used by employers to review candidates.
After applying, you will be invited to create your profile on the Via platform. Your profile stays anonymous until you match.
Via is supporting a global, fast-paced organisation operating in critical infrastructure and energy services. This is a business that keeps essential operations running for customers across events, industry, and remote environments worldwide.
We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join the People team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, consistent, and commercially aware ER support across the UK operation.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage complex casework, influence stakeholders, and help shape a fair, compliant, and high-performing working culture.
What you’ll be doing
*Managing a varied caseload of complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and workplace investigations
*Providing clear, practical employment law and ER advice to managers and stakeholders
*Supporting organisational change activity including restructures and consultation processes
*Working closely with HR Business Partners and line managers to build capability and confidence in handling people issues
*Ensuring consistent application of company policies and UK employment law compliance
*Building strong relationships across the business to promote a proactive, solutions-led ER approach
*Contributing to the development and improvement of HR policies and processes
*Using case insights to identify trends and help prevent recurring people issues
What we’re looking for
*Proven experience in an Employee Relations role within the UK
*Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
*Experience managing complex ER cases and workplace investigations
*Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills
*Experience supporting organisational change or restructuring activity
*Irish employment law knowledge is beneficial but not essential
*A pragmatic, calm, and solutions-focused approach
Why apply?
This is an opportunity to join a business where your ER expertise will directly influence how people managers operate day-to-day. You’ll be part of a supportive People function that values autonomy, judgement, and continuous improvement.
You’ll gain exposure to complex, meaningful ER work in a business that operates in dynamic and essential industries, with strong focus on development and flexible working.
Register your details on Via to progress your application. Create one profile and be matched to this role and other relevant opportunities, including roles advertised exclusively on Via.
